How do CBD works?

Dogs and cats have the same endo-cannabinoid system as humans. However, the system of receptors is not as developed and widespread in your pet, but it comprises the same receptors which affect mood, sleep, and pain relief, etc. This means that your pet can also benefit from CBD, just like humans have, and continually do. CBD can help your pet feel relief from a wide variety of illnesses. However, just like in humans, it might not work for every pet, but the pets that respond to it, the effects can be helpful in curing some serious ailments.

Is CBD Safe for Pets?

CBD is considered generally safe for pets; however, there are usually minor side-effects have been reported. The American Kennel Club has recommended CBD usage for pets and is currently sponsoring the largest CBD study of its kind at Colorado State University. A large number of veterinarians have also supported and even prescribed Cannabidoil for a diverse range of ailments that dogs and cats may develop.

The most common side effect reported is excessive sleepiness, drowsiness, or lethargy. If you feel a significant decline in activity levels of your pet, try giving adjusting the dosage. Similarly, different ages, sizes and even breeds have different sensitivity levels to CBD oil, so, take your furry friend’s breed into consideration. It usually is not advisable to provide Cannabidoil to puppies or kittens younger than three months of age.

How to Administer CBD to your pet?

There are different ways that you can administer Cannabidoil to your pet. If your pet is friendly, you can directly put the oil dropper in their mouth. In other cases, particularly in cats, you have to mix the oil drops in some water or food. There is no harm to add CBD oil drops directly to daily pet food. However you decide to administer the oil, the positive effects should begin showing shortly after treatment starts!

Reflexology is a way to find the right solutions to your health and wellness needs through your feet and aid in the bodies healing.

Reflexology is an ancient practice originated in China and was used in Ancient Egypt thousands of years ago where practioners described it as a method for activating the body’s healing power through reflex points found on the feet. It is a natural and non-invasive science of following a mini map showing where all organs and glands are located on the feet. Reflex points are stimulated to improve the nervous system, blood circulation and assist in detoxifying and clearing congestion in the organs, glands and tissues so they can work at optimal levels.
